Acer nitro 5 AN515-57-77K2

So, i lost my original adapter then i temporarily for 1 day used another acer adapter but with too low volt. then i realised that isnt gonna work long term, the laptop kept turning off and the orange battery indicator thing kept flickering

So i ordered a new acer adapter with the right 180W and 19.5V - 9.23, but when i plug it in it doesnt work, the battery indicator keeps flickering

Is my accu defect or adapter?

pls fix

Is the adapter DC power plug, barrel pin, the correct size? 5.5mm O.D. and the inside of the pin (hole) must be 1.7mm diameter. If you fully insert the barrel pin in the DC port of the laptop you should hear it click and the fit should be tight.

It may be the battery although after 3 years it should still have 30-40% capacity left. Try this first before buying a new battery:
Power drain, SODIMM modules check + CMOS reset: Open the back of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. Locate the CMOS module (with 2 twisted wires Red and Black, top left side under the battery) and remove the coin battery. Shorten the +/- contacts inside the CMOS capsule for 2 seconds with a bended paperclip and put the coin battery back with the + sign facing up, close the CMOS capsule. Unseat and reseat the 2 DDR4 modules firmly in the slots. Next, press the Power Button on the keyboard for 10-15 seconds after that reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard. Close the laptop, plug-in the adapter and try to boot.
