I just received a Predator Triton 17x. Excellent machine, exactly what I was looking for. I previously had a Predator Helios 300 and decided to stay with Acer.

I have a big issue with the network adapter. Connecting to the internet, google, emails, etc… is a nightmare. I have to reset the adapter to work, and every time I try to look for something online it takes forever. Even when checking Gmail, it will give me an error that it can not connect.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be great. I am having a hard time using the machine at this stage.

Thank you.

A.

If you are sure your router/modem is set up properly and you have reset the modem/router, your bandwidth is good (Ping between 2-5ms, max. 10ms) zero packets lost and have no bloatware or 3rd-party AV programs running at the background that are all trying to chat online and "update" at the same time you have to reset Windows11 23H2 Network and configure a basic network, no VPN, no sharing, no proxies and only use IPv4 (remove everything else) Also run the network trouble shooter.

Received my Predator Triton about a week ago. Same issue. Resolved after I removed the proxy server connection. Apparently use of a proxy was the default when shipped.

Thank you. That was exactly what I did and worked.
