The problem started about a week ago after the computer went into sleep mode. I think a Windows update started without my being aware and may have started the problem, but now I'm wondering if this is a hardware problem. Most times I'll turn the computer on by pressing the power button. The keyboard lights will turn on and the power light turns on, but the screen is black. It stays this way for a variable amount of time, but ultimately turns off. After MANY attempts I've found that the computer will SOMETIMES turn on, but ultimately leads to a BSOD (I'm on Windows 11, btw) with various error codes. I first thought that the update led to a driver problem, but the computer turning on is so finicky to even see the error messages I'm now wondering if it's a hardware problem. I've tried unplugging the battery and turning on with the AC adapter, but have the same problem (the computer will 'turn on' then, but not actually show anything). I've also tried removing the SSD, but get the same problem. The computer does feel hotter than I remember it being (certainly considering it isn't really seemingly DOING anything) so maybe the motherboard is fried? I'm not even sure how to troubleshoot at this point. Any thoughts?
