    1. Check Power-Hungry Applications:Use the Task Manager to identify applications and processes that may be consuming a large amount of power. Close unnecessary programs running in the background, especially those that are resource-intensive.
    2. Adjust Power Settings:
      • Open Power Options in the Control Panel.
      • Choose a power plan or create a custom plan.
      • Adjust settings such as display brightness, sleep mode, and other power-saving features.
    3. Update Drivers:Ensure that all your device drivers, including graphics, chipset, and power management drivers, are up to date. Visit the Acer website or use Acer's support tools to check for the latest driver updates.
    4. Battery Calibration:Perform a battery calibration to recalibrate the battery gauge. This involves fully charging the battery, then allowing it to discharge completely before recharging it. Check your laptop's manual or Acer's support resources for specific instructions on how to calibrate the battery.
    5. Check for Background Processes:Ensure there are no unnecessary background processes running that could be draining your battery. The Task Manager can help you identify and close such processes.
    6. Adjust Display Brightness:Lower the brightness of your display, as the screen is a significant contributor to battery consumption.
    7. Disable Unused Hardware:Turn off any hardware components that you're not using, such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, when they are not needed.
    8. Update BIOS/UEFI:Check if there are any BIOS/UEFI updates available for your laptop on the Acer website. Sometimes, updates can include improvements to power management.
    9. Battery Health Report:Run a battery health report to check the overall health of your laptop's battery. You can do this by opening a Command Prompt as an administrator and typing the following command: powercfg /batteryreport.
    10. Contact Acer Support:If the issue persists after trying these steps, and your laptop is still under warranty, it might be best to contact Acer's customer support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or advise on potential hardware issues.

Remember that a gradual decrease in battery life over time is normal as the battery ages, but a sudden and significant drop may indicate an issue that needs attention.

I addition, don't use battery limiter bloatware and turn off the Acer Care Center 80% battery limit charging. External displays use a lot of power and High Performance Power plan with Turbo Boost enabled will also reduce your battery life by several hours.
