on my new aspire 5 the f1-12 key only do the pre set function they are made to like volume up and down, britness up and down…, il i use alt+f4 it don't do function neither close the app like it's suposed to, why? even using the fn key it does nothing.

Try pressing the Fn+Esc keys to turn on the Function keys, If that does nothing, boot to DOS with F2 and change the Fn mode:
