The video card began to operate at a frequency of 210MHz, FPS dropping after playing games for long

I played the game Elden Ring, spent quite a lot of time in it and everything was fine, but now I'm faced with a problem. At one point, the FPS dropped sharply to 5-10, before that, after spending 50 hours in the game,
I had 40-60 fps on high graphics settings. I tested other games - the same result - 5-10 FPS and the video card runs at 210MHz, no more, no less. Searching through a bunch of Internet pages, I didn’t find a solution to this problem,
I reinstalled the drivers for both new and old ones, reinstalled Windows, it didn’t help, I have a laptop with an rtx 3060 laptop, the laptop is 1 year old, the lid has never been opened.
I found one solution - through the device manager, turn off the video card and turn it back on, then everything works as before, but this only helps until the laptop is rebooted/switched off. Turning it off and on every time is not a problem, but the fact that I encountered such a problem is alarming, because before everything was fine. Tell me what to do?

If your laptop is a new Predator laptop and it has an MUX switch, then turn it off in bios like this: BIOS > Advanced > Display mode > Optimus, Nvidia GPU only – this is the best way to disable the cpu graphics and make the RT3060X gpu only run the game and also use the NVidia latest Game Ready Driver and GeForce Experience also, as doing this should stop any fps drops.

If your laptop does not have the MUX switch then install the Nvidia GeForce Experience software and run the Elden Ring game through this software, as this software is included in the NVidia 1500 plus game ultimate settings that NVidia has for this game and for the RTX 3060 gpu to perform at it ultimate settings without any drops of fps rates when running through this software.

Also go to the Nvidia Control Panel and set Elden Ring game to only run on the Nvidia processor, as that is how you should have the settings for all games and high end software on these gaming laptops. Try that and let us know how it pans out and also make sure that you run the latest RTX3060 notebook gpu driver for Win-11 the GeForce Game Ready Driver Version 546.17 WHQL Release Date: 2023.11.14.
