How can I remove the sticker on my computer? I want to try acetone to remove it.

I removed the sticker on my computer where the computer's features were written. But there is a problem, the adhesive is left on the computer, and I want to try acetone to remove it.But I'm afraid that the color of the computer case will fade.

    NO ACETONE!!

If it was mine, I'd leave it be. If you must try to remove it anyway, only rubbing alcohol or SimpleGreen. Even then, you might still alter the appearance of the plastic just by rubbing it too much with these cleaners.

Thank you, will it be a problem if I try to remove it by heating?

No heating either, I used plain baby oil and unscented anti-allergic hand cream for cleaning the wrist rests of my old Aspire a515-54G that was cluttered with stickers, the thick metallic stickers leave the worst glue, there will be some shading marks left if you remove the stickers late (years) but if you do it immediately it will come out perfectly. Even the shading will disappear after some time. Tip, don't overdo the rubbing as that will generate heat and will make the mess worse, just use your fingers lightly, never fingernails, and nothing abrasive or hairy, only very soft fiber cloths used for cleaning your reading glasses, and a lot of patience, do the cleaning piece meal over a few days. 😉

No. Heat will warp the plastic. Leave it alone.
