I have a Acer Nitro 5 AN515-54 , Everything was working fine and I force shutdown my laptop , From the next boot the laptop shows No bootable device and nothing shows up in boot priority in bios . I checked whether the hard drives were visible were visible and they are indeed visible ( I checked the serial number section ) . The bios takes too long to load and bootable pen drives doesn’t show up in the boot order. Please let me know how do I fix this.

Don't force a system abort or shut down with the Power Button, use the Esc key or Ctrl+Alt+Del and click on the bottom right Power icon to shut down. End a freezing/hanging app in Task Manager-Processes. Pressing the Power Button >5 seconds to force a shut down will corrupt system files as you probably already experienced. You can try to Reset this PC by pressing Alt+F10 as soon as you see the Acer logo after booting normally. This will give you the blue screens of WindowsRe with the Troubleshoot menu.

If you cannot get to the Troubleshoot menu you have to boot with the Windows Recovery USB flash drive and access the Troubleshoot menu that way. Browse this forum how to make a Windows Recovery drive on another PC if you don't have one.
