My conceptD is 2 years old and starting to overheat. Any recommendations for this? It is shutting down when editing.

Which ConceptD laptop model do you have, as overheating in a high-end laptop like a ConceptD is usually a thermal issue and after 2 years I would suggest that you clean this laptops fans and vents and also repaste its cpu/gpu and change the thermal pads of this laptop, especially if you do allot of high-end editing that pushes this laptop to its max temps.

Use the Thermal Grizzly range of paste and thermal pads as they are the best on the market for a high-end laptop like you have, if you want to repaste with "Liquid Metal Compound" be very careful as the liquid metal thermal compound, if applied too much and/or applying it incorrectly, then this compound will leak onto the circuitries of your laptop mainboard, and this liquid metal compound will cause circuitries to short out and burn out your mainboards components and circuitries beyond repair. Also invest and use a tablet cooler, that raises the base of the laptop off the table and allows fresh air to circulate under the laptop to allow good circulation, which is also a great aid to cooling these high-end laptops. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
