I am using Acer swift SF 314-512-532A for 1 year. I had formatted and reinstalled windows a week back. It was working fine for 1-2 days of installing. After that Battery is not charging, and laptop is not turing on. No orange indicator is turning on. I have tried following already -

1) pressing the pinhole battery sign reset for 30 seconds. And charging again.

2) removing the back panel, and then removing the battery and again attaching it.

After all this red indicator lighted up for 5 seconds when trying to charge, and again turned off.

    (1) Why did you do this?

    (2) Go to the elevated command prompt. Enter 'powercfg /batteryreport'. Then return to the desktop. Open file explorer. Then search for' battery-report.html' in the c:\windows\system32\ sub-folder. Double-click to open it in the browser. Post screenshot of the first part of the report if possible.

    Thanks for the response.

I had to gift it to my brother as i had upgraded to another laptop. So i had reset and intalled windows from local drive.

The laptop is not turning on with or without the charger connected, and battery is also not charging. So i am not able to use command prompt.

Your charger or its wire and plug has likely failed if battery charge LED is not lit. Replacement chargers are very inexpensive less than $20usd from vendors like Amazon or FlipKart. Google keywords SF314-51 & charger for vendors who ship to your location.

Dear sir. I have two chargers, and i have tried both of them. Both chargers are fine and are charging other laptops well..

Then peer inside the laptop's charging jack with a bright light to make sure the center pin is straight and slider contacts are visible. If battery charge LED remains unlit while plugged in, there must be a break in the connections somewhere inside. The jack is the easiest to check without disassembly.
