Recently i bought a Wacom Cintiq 16 drawing tablet, which has it's own display that has to be connected to the PC via HDMI. My computer graphic card only has one HDMI slot, so i can't connect it to that. But there's a second HDMi slot connected to the motherboard, that doesn't seem to work Even though according to my research. the motherboard (Intel(R) Core i7-6700 CPU) has intergrated/onboard graphics, which should allow me to connect the tablet to that HDMI slot. But it just doesn't work. I also can't enable "Integrated Graphics" in the system BIOS. Anyone know how to enable that second HDMI slot?

To enable the Integrated Graphics, plug the monitor into the motherboard HDMI slot and leave the dedicated GPU's HDMI empty. It should let you enable it.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

@AnhEZ28 Really? When i took the monitor out of the GPU's slot and plugged it into the Motherboard's Slot i received no signal.

Can you check your BIOS? Maybe the iGPU is disabled over there.

You cou also try running CPU-Z. On the "Graphics" leaf is your iGPU selectable in the pull-down menu named "Display Device Selection?"

EDIT: For some reason their own site does not work for me. I d/l it from guru3d.com, ran it and it seems to be safe. I use F-Secure AVP suite.

@GotBanned I did go to the System BIOS to try to enable it. But it was disabled by default and i can't turn it on. Apparently you need advanced encryption, but i don't know how to dothat.

I found few cases on this forum, Reddit and other sites having similar problems. Interesting that iGPU is being disabled in BIOS. I see no benefit from doing so.

The manual says that you should be able to use motherboard's HDMI port(s), as there are no mentions of _any_ limitations.

What will happen if you remove the GPU from the PC try to use mobo's HDMI port? Do you get picture?

If you do, I have no idea what the logic is behind Acer's decision to disable the other HDMI.

You may have to contact Acer directly and ask why GPU and iGPU be can't be used at the same time. I would love to hear their reasoning.

@GotBanned I just unplugged the GPU from the PC and plugged the HDMI cable in the Motherboard's slot afterwards. But it still didn't work. Which is odd, as the Motherboard HDMI slot seemed to be fine. (As seen in the image below.)

Although something, that might be worth mentioning is that i did remove the plastic cover for the slot quite a while ago, so maybe that caused some damage over time. Then again, what's the worst that can happen from that aside from more dust getting in?

Just use a DP to HDMI cable for your monitor and the HDMI on the GPU card for the Wacom. Acer doesn't support both the internal HDMI and a GPU card at the same time.

    Thanks Billsey. You're the man!

For some reason Acer has decided to do it like this. It can't be saving costs in the manufacturing process because the port is physically there. Only Acer knows.

Hopefully DP port works as suggested, but… there is only one way to be sure.

    Good luck!

@billsey i got a DP to HDMI cable as you told me. And after some tinkering i got both the monitor and tablet to work. So thank you for helping me figure this out. And thanks to everyone else as well for giving me advise.
