Aspire A51554 Flashing charging light after installing new battery.

I recently ran into an issue with the original battery in my laptop not charging. I replaced the battery as recommended. Now, the charging light flashes like the battery is low, but it reads 100% all the time. Is there a reset after installing a new battery? I am running Windows 11, BIOS is v1.07. I have created a power plan that will full drain the battery to see if that will reset the charging system.

Did you buy the battery from a reputable store and check if the battery is not "refurbished" but brand new?

Do not create or edit the default power plan unless you have shutdown issues, changing the advanced settings may interfere with Windows11 new S0 Modern Standby protocol, Google the topic to find out more.
If you are confident of the correct battery model, reset BIOS (F9 in BIOS) and save settings on exit. Do the Pinhole reset at the back of the laptop with a needle or SIM card retrieval pin. Boot to Windows and uninstall the two battery drivers (see picture) Change the Power Plan to Balanced, reset that Power Plan to factory defaults and disable both Hibernate and Fast Startup in Power Plan (choose what closing the lid does). Finally do a full charge cycle with the new battery, charge till the amber LED turns blue, wait ten minutes, unplug the power adapter and use the laptop till it turns itself off automatically (hibernates at 5%). Plug the adapter back in and charge again till the amber light turns blue (don't boot the laptop), wait again 10 minutes and boot to windows.
