Why is AN515-55 SLOW? I used to get 100 fps, but now I am getting 40 on 1080p

Using a GTX 1650 and 10300h in a AN515-55 Acer Nitro 5, Played "Team Fortress 2" a cpu intensive title, and I used to get 100 fps, but now I am getting 40 on 1080p. A GTX 1650 should not be getting this low fps for a game made in 2007. Its happening for every game, But why

Check if your CPU/GPU Temperatures are going more than 90°C

solutions-
1)Fps cap 
Capping fps to lower value like 60, 100, 120, 140, etc can greatly lower cpu temperature and keep cool
(Cap you fps through Nvidia software or use RTSS)

2)Prop the laptop up with books around the sides to reduce heat
Grab stack of 2-4 books that are equally thick. Slide the spine of a book 2–3 inches (5.1–7.6 cm) under the right side of the laptop. Do the same on the left side of the laptop.

[You can also Buy good cooling pad in which stands are inbuilt, its better than books]

Follow Below steps if above steps doesn't work
Note- Cleaning air vents and fans are also important as applying good quality thermal paste correctly..

(X method is recommended for new users and use good quality thermal paste like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut or Arctic MX-4 2019 edition)

Note- Avoid removing pink paste from Vrams if it is used. You just need to replace CPU/GPU thermal paste. Pink paste on Vrams are different

-Applying thermal paste too much or very less also cause overheating, Just draw X on your CPU/GPU chip in this way that it doesn't spread out of chip when applying heatsink 

-Never remove heatsink after applying new thermal paste because Once you remove the heatsink off, you create a void or air bubbles get inside where the thermal paste used to be and risk of overheating because of the unprotected areas.
