I have a Po3-630 series, model D19W6. I believe the M.2 hard drive was wiped out. Windows will not boot up. How can I restore to factory settings?

You don't need the Acer oem Win-11 operating system. Best is to do a Clean Install of Win-11 and then install the Acer Applications and download and install the Acer Care Center and Predator Arc from the PO3-630 Drivers and Manuals page only, as you don't need anything else from what Acer installed on your desktop oem as its all bloatware.

What you need to do is to make a Win-11 bootable USB with Rufus and follow their guide of how to do their bootable USB drive, after put the IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Driver version 18.31.8.1042 from the PO3-630 drivers page onto this same USB drive, so that when you start the Win-11 installation, and you get to the installation section of where it asks you "Where do you want to install windows?" you first delete all drives and then click on Load driver and install the IRST driver, as this driver will make the windows installation recognize the #25 is the M.2 (2280) M-key SSD1 which is the PCIe 4x4 boot M.2 SSD drive that you should install the operating system on. #15 is the M.2 (2280) M-key SSD2 slot and #20 is the M.2 (2230) E-key WLAN slot.

Then you finish the Win-11 installation and download all the windows updates and also install the NVidia latest drivers for the GeForce RTX3070 gpu and make sure you use the custom installation so that the new driver deletes all the previous NVidia gpu driver that the Win-11 installation installed, and make sure you also have the latest bios version R01-A4 and Firmware version v1.02 installed also. As if you have all this done, your PO3-630 will perform better than when Acer installed their version of Win-11. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

To restore your Acer Predator P03-630 to factory settings when the M.2 drive has been wiped out, you can try the following steps:

    Using Acer Recovery Management:

    1. Access Acer Recovery Management:
      • Turn off your Acer Predator.
      • Turn it on and immediately start pressing the "Alt" key and repeatedly tap the "F10" key until the Acer Recovery Management screen appears.
    2. Factory Reset:
      • Within the Acer Recovery Management, you should have the option to perform a factory reset or system restore.
      • Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your system to its original factory settings.

Using Acer Recovery Media (if available):

    1. Create a Recovery USB (if not already available):
      • If you have not previously created a recovery USB, you might need to obtain or create one using another computer.
      • Acer may provide a recovery image for your specific model on their website. Follow the instructions to create a recovery USB.
    2. Boot from Recovery USB:
      • Insert the recovery USB into the Acer Predator.
      • Restart the computer and press the necessary key (usually F2, F12, or Esc) to enter the boot menu.
      • Choose the USB drive to boot from and follow the on-screen instructions to restore the system.

    Using Windows Installation Media:

If you don’t have access to Acer-specific recovery media, you can use a Windows installation USB:

    1. Create Windows Installation Media:
      • Use another computer to create a Windows installation USB by downloading the Windows Media Creation Tool from Microsoft's website.
    2. Boot from Windows Installation USB:
      • Insert the Windows installation USB into the Acer Predator.
      • Restart the computer and access the boot menu by pressing the necessary key (F2, F12, or Esc).
      • Boot from the USB drive.
    3. Reinstall Windows:
      • Follow the on-screen instructions to install Windows. During the installation process, you'll have the option to format the drive and perform a clean installation.

These steps should help you restore your Acer Predator P03-630 to factory settings even if the M.2 drive has been wiped out. However, it’s crucial to back up any important data before performing a factory reset or reinstalling the operating system, as these processes will erase all data on the drive. If you encounter any issues or uncertainties, it might be best to contact Acer support for specific guidance for your model.
