Hi,

I would like to know if it's possible to charge my swift 5 (SF514-54GT) with an external battery when I'm travelling.

And if yes, which battery I have to buy ?

Thanks a lot

No, you need USB-C with Thunderbolt4 that supports Power delivery to do that, you have the Thunderbolt3 version, 2019, that does not support USB-C power delivery (PD). There is a 100-Watt universal Power Bank (Baseus) with barrel plugs that may fit in the DC port of your Swift, but that PB will already be depleted when the laptop has not even been charged to 20% so you need to recharge the Power Bank and charge the laptop (pointless).

Okay great, thanks a lot for your answer, it's very helpful ! Any suggestion of other laptops to use for travelling (light, compact, and possible to charge with external battery) ?

Actually, there are external batteries than can provide the needed power with the correct 3.0x1.1mm barrel connector. You just need to verify they will output 19V at 65W for full speed charging.
