Folks

I have an Aspire A515-52G which has just upgraded to Windows 11.

Has anybody had any issues with this upgrade?

The latest Acer BIOS is from 2019/11/28 version 1.16 for Windows10. Check frequently for updates (Acer Support and Windows) you should be on Windows11 23H2 build 22631.2506 but it may take a while till all your drivers are updated by Windows, don't install anything manually, let Windows11 do all the updating. Once fully updated and Acer has a newer BIOS available you should have no issues with your laptop running Windows11.

Most of the Win-11 drivers are installed initially with the OS installation and then make sure that the windows updates are installed, also have the last bios version 1.16 installed as that is advantageous also, for the specialist drivers like the NVidia gpu drivers, go to the NVidia site and download the last Win-11 appropriate driver for whatever gou that you have (this laptop came with GeForce 940MX, MX150, MX230 or the MX250). You need to keep Win-11 updated to its last updates always for your OS and Aspire A515-52G laptop, as whatever driver Win-11 installs is the appropriate driver for Win-11.
