It's an Acer Nitro 5 515-53. It was working fine, but after a restart, after a minute or two, it completely shut off. Not even the charging indicator turns on. I hear a faint beep from inside ever 3 seconds when trying to turn it on. Anyone know what's wrong?

First do a Hard Reset by unscrewing the back two doors covers and take the ram out then unscrew the fifteen (15) screws off the back cover, then take the cover off, then disconnect and take the main battery out, disconnect the bios battery and short the - & + battery mainboard pins and leave the laptop like that for 15min. This resets the IO. bios and chipset chips, put everything back together and boot the laptop, this should reboot the laptop, if it doesn't then it could be your main battery (this laptop is 5 years old and due for a battery change, or your laptop has problems in the main power rail as it might have burned/shorted circuits, like a capacitor, mosat etc, so check the laptops internal power rail where the DC-IN CABLE plugs into the mainboard physically for any damage, as that is where the problem is.

Disconnect the RTC battery and short the + & - pins at the mainboard plug to reset CMOS:

Check circuitries around where the DC-IN plug plugs into the mainboard for burned/shorted capacitors or mosat:
