Chromebook touchpad does not work

I have a Chromebook that the touchpad does not work. Still under warranty. HP and Lenovo would send me a box to ship item to them. All I do is login to my account, put in all the information and submit for the repair. I would get an email that the box is on its way. Does Acer do the same thing? I just cannot find any information on this.

Click this support link. Enter your serial number id (SNID). If still under warranty, use the chatline or other contact method provided for warranty repair shipping instructions.

Jack, thanks for answering back, but unfortunately that does not help. I already have been through that. Really could not get an answer. After questioning again, I asked her, if we have to pay for shipping one way? She replied, Yes, of course. However, when you create the case, we check what we can do for the customer. This answer is a none answer. No matter what I still need to pay to ship it to them even under warranty. This is not like HP and Lenovo. If under warranty, they ship me a box for me to ship item to them. Shipping cost me nothing.

This is not like HP and Lenovo.

Sorry, that's because it varies with country or region in which the machine was purchased. That's why I had you go to SNID/chatline route since the forum no longer identifies what country/region user posts are from.

So for general warranty policies, click on the support link from the Acer home page in your country/region. For example, if in the USA, click on this link. Or for other countries/regions, use this other link.
