my device is nitro 5 and i tried assigning power button to sleep , but it is not working

Activate the Sleep Button too to Sleep. You may have a conflict in the registry if Acer has a custom Power Plan installed, better have both options set to Sleep mode (S3). Careful changing these Power Plan settings in Windows 22H2 as the new S0 Modern Standby protocol (legacy S3) has a "will of its own" and unexpected results can happen when editing the defaults, like USB power not turning off after shutdown or laptop won't resume after Hibernate. Disable Hibernate and Fast Startup in "Change what closing the lid does", "Change settings that are currently unavailable".
