My relatively new Acer Aspire 5 Laptop | A515-56 has an erratic touchpad. How can I make it function more like my old Acer Aspire E5-772-35M, which I used for nearly 8 years? I purchased the Aspire 5 about a year ago because my old Acer was in poor condition. Initially, I struggled to adapt to Windows 11 and the new laptop, especially the touchpad. I've lost numerous forms due to unintentional movements while typing, as I am doing in this forum. I kept reverting to my old, familiar laptop.

I had improved the performance of the old laptop by performing a repair install of Windows 10, and it worked reasonably well. Although I've become more acquainted with Windows 11, I believe I should be using the new laptop and making it work for me. However, I'm unsure how to configure the touchpad to mimic my old one.
