Hey all, seen a post on here but it was from 2020. Bought a nh-l9i fan and have no idea how to install, seen people on YouTube somehow install it from behind the motherboard? Is there a way to do that without tearing the entire pc apart?

Thanks in advance

You need to fit your Noctua NH-L9i cpu cooler into the same 4x screw holes that the oem cpu cooler fits into, unscrew the oem cpu cooler and then wipe all the old thermal paste off with alcohol then apply and spread a thin coating of a high end and durable thermal paste like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme onto the cpu and screw the new Noctua cpu cooler onto the cpu.

The Noctua NH-L9i has an Installation manual PDF manual that gives a basic installation guide and this cpu cooler should screw right into the same 4x screw holes as the Acer fitted oem Socket LGA 1151 cpu cooler fits into, Noctua should also have all the additional hardware and appropriate adaptors to fit this cpu cooler into your PIO3-600 mobo.

Note: The Noctua NH-L9i is not much of an upgrade and/or improvement over the oem cpu cooler that you have, the best cpu cooler upgrade for the PO3-600 desktop is the Noctua NH-U9S chromax.black which is what all the community members have upgraded their PO3-600 desktops to and the other Predator Orion desktops models. Anyway, if you already bought the Noctua NH-L9i cpu cooler, then do the above to fit this cooler. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
