My laptop was idling when it suddently shut off and the Power led (the one next to the battery led) started blinking orange. I tried turning it on again pressing the on button but nothing, tried reseting the battery but nothing either. What does this mean? Because in other posts I saw that their Battery led was blinking, but not the Power led. It's the first time this has happened.

Overheating, the battery may be depleting after 3-years or you have a power adapter failure those are the 3 things to check. First try this (after the laptop has been fully cooled down): Power drain + CMOS reset: Open the back of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. Locate the CMOS module (with 2 twisted wires Red and Black) below the left fan and remove the coin battery. Shorten the +/- contacts inside the CMOS capsule for 2 seconds with a bended paperclip and put the coin battery back with the + sign facing up, close the CMOS capsule. Unseat and then reseat the two RAM DDR4 modules firmly in the slots. Next, press the Power Button on the keyboard for 10-15 seconds, after that reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard. Close the laptop, plug-in the adapter and try to boot. If still no booting possible you could try another power adapter and replace the battery.

I think it overheat because it turned on again after a short while, although I'm always keeping an eye out on the temperatures, while gaming it won't (or rather I dont't let it) go upwards from 70⁰. Also in the "balanced" setting would go up to 98. This is just after some testing, by no means I let it overheat like, ever. Curious
