Hi,

The latest driver for my ED273 screen is windows 10 but my OS is windows 11. What should I do?

I tried to install the windows 10 driver but the resolution is very poor (1024X768)

@ushap78 there is no driver for the screen. It is plug-and-play. Are you able to adjust the resolution?

As suggested you don't need a driver for the monitor because it's plug and play. Why are you using 1024x768 instead of the monitor's default resolution of 1920x1080? Anything other than the default will look a bit odd…

@AnhEZ28 , @billsey thanks for your reply. The maximum available resolution is 1024 X 796 I do not have the option to select different while connected to the acer screen.

When I switch to another monitor (Samsung) the resolution goes to 1920X1080 and the display is good.

I'm using Intel® Arc™ A770 Graphics card and installed its latest driver.

@ushap78 try to swap with different cables or different interfaces like HDMI or DP.

There is something wrong if you are only being offered 1024x768. You should get the full resolution the monitor supports.

This Acer ED273 monitor is a mess.

Worked perfectly fine on my Windows 10 tower. Just bought a Windows 11 tower and the monitor shows no signal via HDMI. I have tried everything from different cables etc. At my whist end.

So I need to return the windows 11 tower and buy a windows 10 tower to use this monitor or on the other hand buy a new monitor? This is silly. Why does Acer not have Windows 11 drivers and only windows 10 drivers.

This is still an active model.

Called Acer tech support and I am out of warranty by a few months so I cant even speak with them. They simply transfer me off to some third party company to make money off me when I know what the issue is.

I always thought highly of Acer. Time to rethink what company I spend my money with next time.

Nothing to do with W10 vs W11. There might be something else wrong with the new computer. monitors don't care at all which OS is installed, GPUs do.
