ConceptD 3 ezel Can I put a screen protector without damaging the matte screen?

I often keep the laptop in my backpack and unfortunately touch pad cover scratches the screen. Can I put a screen protector without damaging the matte screen? I bought this one:

I don't want to risk the screen getting more damage in case I need to remove the protector or worse the glue reacts with the matte film.

I would not stick anything on a non-touch or non-Gorilla screen, especially not on a (semi-) matt screen. Better place a soft fiber spectacle cloth on the touchpad before closing the lid or get a larger sheet the size of the keyboard that came with the laptop when new.

I would use the film screen protector rather than the glass one because it is thinner.

It's not glass, it's film. Do you think it may harm the screen?

It's a touchscreen but the problem is not touching it with fingers or stylus but with a touch pad cover which rubs the screen. It's a clearly visible line now.

Do you think the film may harm the screen?
