Travelmate P4 fan noise Probably even higher pitch on faster fan speeds, noise between 500-650 hz

Hi, my brand new Travelmate TMP416-52g, when fan is on, but at relatively low speed,is making pitched noise between 500-650 hz, depending on fan speed. Probably even higher pitch on faster fan speeds.

Is this normal and expected behavior? If I ask for replacement, is there a chance another model wouldn't make pitched noise?

Can it be fixed somehow?

I'd expect laptop noise to be something more like brown or pink noise kind, not that clearly audible pitch. I find it uncomfortable to work with for 8 hours a day.
