I have an Acer Aspire A715-76G. I choose often to run on the Intel UHD Graphics most of the time and only selected a few heavy applications such as Premiere and Photoshop to run on the GTX 1650. However, I just noticed recently that my gamma suddenly increases when I am viewing dark content. The change is pretty slow and it is quite annoying as sometimes when I am editing photos, I do not know if I had made something too dark or too light.

The screen returns to normal gamma when viewing lighter content. I notice that even when running Photoshop and Premiere which should be on the GPU, the gamma change still occurs and it is just so annoying. I have re-installed and clean installed the Intel UHD Graphics but it still occurs.

Keep in mind that this gamma change does not occur when the Intel UHD Graphics were not installed. It also does not occur when the laptop is running on battery power, this gamma change ONLY occurs when I am plugged into the wall. I also disabled the Display Power Savings feature on the Intel Graphics Command Center.

I am looking if someone has a solution for this or someone could help.

i had the same issue. so there is a app called acer quick access, you can search it up in taskbar search. if the "color intelligence" is on turn it off.
