G3-571-77QK randomly shut down and won’t turn on

During a Zoom class my laptop randomly shut down. I hadn’t pressed anything, temps were normal. My laptop (G3-571-77QK) decided to shut down out of the blue. I tried to turn it on after that, but it does not work at all. Here’s what I noticed:

•The backlit keyboard lights up for about half a second before shutting down

•Both fans rotate/operate also for half a second before shutting down.

•While charging the laptop, there can either be a set blue or a blinking orange light. At times it’s both.

Here’s what I’ve tried:

•Unplugging the battery and starting my laptop with the power cord plugged.

•Starting my laptop only using the battery.

•Clear CMOS.

None of these options helped and I am quite desperate as I am a college student and all my work is in there. I’m pretty desperate. I would appreciate any help. Thanks beforehand!

P.S.: Due to the circumstances in the country I am currently living in, there is no Acer centers and I cannot take it to a technician.

It may not be shutting down but just entering hibernate mode. change your Power Plan to Balanced and reset that to factory defaults. Download Power Toys (experimental) freeware by MS and enable the Awake option each time you start Zoom sessions as that will stop the laptop from going to sleep or hibernate. If this does not help, you may have a battery/power issue or a bad GPU driver.
