Hello there, I recently encountered a quite big issue with my laptop. I'm using Acer Nitro 5, NVIDIA GeForce RTX2060, Windows 10 x64. Few days ago I was gaming and mid my session my screen freezed, after forcing my laptop to shut down I noticed a big lack of performance in game, my fps dropped from 200 to 20-30. When I finished the game, I opened the Device Manager and saw that Windows disabled my NVIDIA graphics card because it returned code 43, so I updated my drivers from GeForce Experience. I also noticed my NVIDIA Control Panel not opening after the update, so I couldn't switch from my Intel graphics card to NVIDIA one. I decided to reinstall the NVIDIA Control Panel but to no avail, I still couldn't open it. I read so many forums, posted this on Reddit, Stack Overflow, watched many youtube videos and tried almost everything. I tried reinstalling the drivers, fixing the path in regedit, doing the NVIDIA clean, the DDU method, and so many things more. I even contacted the NVIDIA Customer support but it takes them 3 days to ask me a question and it will probably take very long time for them to come to a conclusion. I might need to add this, but after restarting the laptop NVIDIA graphics card always shows the code 43 but if I disable and then re-enable it, it says that it's working properly. Any ideas how to fix this?
