    @Quequa

    You can charge your chromebook only using the USB-C port.

    Sorry for the damage happened on your laptop

    @Quequa you can take it to a motherboard repair shop to let them replace the USB-C ports for you.

    Also, there have been literally hundreds of different 713 models over the years. Which one do you have? Charging can be different on different models. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like CP713-xxx-xxxx.

    model 713 CP713-2W supports USB-C Power Delivery (PD) and can be charged with a USB-C 90-Watt charger, but if both USB-C ports are broken you have to bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country to replace the USB-C port(s).

    Yes, the USB-C ports aren't easily repaired, though one side is easier than the other. The left side port is soldered directly to the motherboard, the right side is on a daughter card. Needless to say, a daughter card is less expensive than a motherboard for replacement. Only highly skilled technicians can replace the ports without replacing the board.
