Travelmate laptop won’t on anymore. tried basic steps but still does not work

My travelmate | P laptop won’t on. The light indicator was blinking orange then it turned into blue but still won’t on. I tried to poke the pinhole of the battery for 30 seconds and after I plugged in the charger, the light indicator has no light anymore.

Power drain + DDR4 module reseat: Open the back of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. Locate the RAM DDR4 slot and unseat then reseat the DDR4 module. Next, press the Power Button on the keyboard for 10-15 seconds after that reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard. Close the laptop, plug-in the adapter and try to boot.

If the battery charge indicator does not light when you plug the charger in, likely the charger isn't working. Can you test it's voltage? We won't be able to give much better help without knowing which Travelmate laptop you have. There have been hundreds of different models over the years. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like TMPxx-xxx-xxxx.
