I am considering getting this laptop and wish to ensure I can use it with two external monitors. One would be connected to the HDMI port and the other would be connected to the USB Type-C Thunderbolt port (using DisplayPort). I would want to extend the desktop so each of the external monitors as well as the laptop LCD can display different apps.

I can easily do this on my quite old Aspire 5 (using HDMI and VGA ports), so I am pretty sure this should work on a new Aspire 7, but I wanted to try to get verification.

And assuming this is possible, are there any restrictions on the external monitors using the discreet GPU (RTX 3050) vs the integrated GPU (Intel Iris Xe)?
