Hey, I have a question!
I bought an Acer Predator Triton 300 SE at the beginning of last year, and today I noticed the right side of the notebook does not have the same fan potency as the left side (looking at the notebook).
I did everything in my power to avoid using it on top of a bed or surfaces that might have a lot of dust and hair and all that, but I cannot avoid it completely (I have a lot of pets at home and they have access to the rooms where I use the notebook to play).
Also, I noticed that the CPU is getting very hot (between 80~90 degrees Celsius) in normal usage (google/explorer with some videos playing, or when I'm doing some research and have a reasonable amount of open tabs).
I haven't been able to find any tutorial on YouTube in this specific predator model, and I want to do my best to avoid damaging any components due to the heat, so I want to know if there are any tutorials or if someone can help me through the process of opening up the notebook to clean it up. I do know I will need special gloves and thermal paste to avoid any damage and to replace the old thermal paste, but I have never opened up a notebook (I only opened in the past a desktop computer and simply to get it dust free, without the need to even remove screws), so I really need the help.
My only store option to take it for this is a place I don't like very much because when they mess something up they delete everything in the SSDs and reset Windows with a pirated version (and charge the value of a real Windows version), which I want to avoid. I also don't trust any store with such an expensive device and believe it is best for me to do it, so if something happens, it's my fault alone, and I can deal with that, compared to someone else damaging it and trying to cover the damage.
Thanks in advance!
