Acer Predator XB273K showing brown lines and flickering

Hello,

I bought this monitor in the summer of 2019 and in the last few days it started to flicker in the middle of the screen (it was minimal before) and huge vertical lines are appearing (see attached). Lines disappear after a monitor restart, but usually reappear within minutes or half an hour.

Turning off G-sync doesn't help. Tried HDMI cable instead of DP, but that didn't solve the problem.

Or is this "normal", considering it's ~ 4 years old? It's also been running in 144hz mode for a large amount of time.

Please let me know if there are some solutions.

Yes. You need to check with any local tech for repair

1. Try to swap the cables and check
2. Turn off the monitor and unplug all the cables than press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
3. Still if you have issue than its a hardware issue.

Seems that it's not doing the trick… The big brown line disappears, but I still have some yellow tones in the middle of the monitor + flickering.

This is very expensive to repair I presume? Not worth?
