In Windows 11, the three- or four-finger touchpad gestures are lacking ergonomic animations that were present in Windows 10. How can I fix this ?

My laptop is Acer Swift 1 (SF114-32).

You can try installing latest Win10 serial i/o and touchpad (Elantech or Synaptic) drivers from this Acer download link.

However, be aware that while your laptop mainboard may be Win11-compatible with Win11, this doesn't necessarily mean peripherals connected to the mainboard —- like the touchpad —- will work exactly the same way they did under Win10.

Accordingly, you may have to wait until the Acer downloads for this model are updated for Win11. Since we Acer users have no way of knowing when or even if the Win11 driver updates will appear, you just have to keep checking the download link from time to time like the rest of us.

I installed the latest drivers for serial i/o and touchpad. (Only Elantech is showing for the touchpad driver).

The result is that it switches desktops but not as fluid or smoothly as before. It is possibly acceptable this way, and I just need to adjust to it. However, if the ergonomics of the touchpad could perform as in Win10, it would eliminate the doubt.

(Only Elantech is showing for the touchpad driver).

You must click on the "load more" button to see the Synaptic drivers.
