Hi everyone,

I was playing Train Sim World 2 on my Aspire 7 lap for almost 1 hour when this happened. I usually have an OSD on my screen using HwInfo and RivaTuner and I always make sure that the GPU doesn't go above 75C. Maybe I read somewhere about this but I am not sure if this is the temp limit for a 1650 mobile. Anyway this time I just didn't bother turning on that OSD and started playing. Game was playing as expected and after around 45 minutes I couldn't stop my train at the end of the track and crashed onto that board thing they put at the end of the track. The game immediately crashed and I though it was something related to the board since it was playing perfectly fine until then. Then I tried to bring up the task manager and thats when I realized that my whole laptop had frozen. Tried force rebooting which went fine except I got a BSoD right after I logged in. The error code was "video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error".

Thats not even the main problem. My system froze at that BSoD and never rebooted like its supposed to. I again rebooted and got the same error. The next few times the system froze at the booting screen itself.

So my question is 'Am I looking at a HW problem?'. Is my GPU fried?
