Hello,

I've tried opening my computer today, and wasn't getting any response from it. The battery light is glowing a solid orange and the power light a solid blue.

I tried restarting the battery through the pinhole at the back, but that didn't do anything, the lights are still glowing.

If anyone knows what might be wrong, I'd appreciate the help.

The USB-C port is without Thunderbolt 3 and cannot be charged with a USB-C charger, hopefully you did not try to do that.
To me this looks like a dead battery issue, after 5 years the battery has reached its end of life. Replace the battery and do a full charge cycle first for BIOS and Windows to register the battery capacity (only 1 time required for a new battery). The Acer part number for the battery in your SF314-52 is: KT.00405.005 https://www.laptop-parts-shop.com/kt00405005-114v-36wh-battery-for-acer-laptop-p-493392.html

Those are normal lights. The battery light should change to blue as well once it's fully charged. Verify that works… It is possible the battery has reached end of life, but there are steps you can take to verify that. First is a full reset, not just a click on the reset button behind that pin hole: With the laptop powered off disconnect everything, including the charger then use a SIM tool or bent paperclip to press and hold the reset button for 15-30 seconds. Release the button and wait 15-30 minutes and plug only the charger back in. Wait for the indicator to show a full charge on the battery and only then try turning it back on.
