How do i fix my acer nitro 5 AN515-57's sudden fps and audio drops?

I've had this laptop for about 10-11 months and this week only started a week ago when i was play Rainbow Six Siege, I was playing with some friends in a discord call and all of a sudden the game froze for a sec and then the frames dropped to about 2-4 fps, and the audio along with it. After the drop happens, it affects my entire laptop, either after the game is closed. The only way I can fix it temporarily is restarting the laptop.

Another game this happens on is Ark, it played fine as it always would and then the same fps thing would happen then my entire laptop would break until i restarted it, I'm not too sure what i can do to fix it.

My Graphics in those games are manageable for this type of laptop and its never been a problem before last week, i was always hitting a constant 60 fps in those games. The cpu and gpu aren't overheating at all and my power plan is set to high performance mode, laptop is fully charged and always plugged in. I've even done a system reset and that hasn't helped either, and the problem can happen 3-5 times a day. Should i take it to a repair store?
