Yeah, that too. PSUs are particularly vulnerable to overheating failure if mains frequencies vary too much above or below 50Hz-60Hz.

4 years is not bad if it has the cheap condensers and ventilation problems.

The power supplies operates 24/7 stand-by as long as it is plugged into the wall.

If you have power problems it'd be noticed with lights dimming etc and a cycle problem ??? I think there would be many other things that would be noticeable with a drastic cycle change as electrical clocks would would be wrong and motors would change speed. A smps power supply is designed to take minor changes

You've got cheap condensers that are puffed of ventilation is a problem.

I don't thing that your PS is made anymore so good luck for a replacement.

Yes, the PSU is a bit of a special beast:

As mentioned earlier, the S2660g should be able to use the same PSUs as the Veriton S4660G  S6660G X4660G, E450, & D650. Rather than use Acer PSU
part numbers, I suggest that you google search the keywords "PSU"
"s2660g" "veriton" for vendors who ship to your location. Aliexpress has
the 250watt units for about $35usd when I google from my location.
