slow download on Acer Aspire Nitro 5 AN515-45-R1FQ

recently I bought a Nitro 5 AN515-45-R1FQ, the performance is quite good, but for some reason the download speed is really slow, I only use internet via cable (RJ45), I have a 60MB (600mb) internet and the max speed I'm getting is 10MB, on the aspire 5 I had before the downloads were always at max speed, when testing the download speed I get the right speed, but when downloading anything I got really slow speeds, I've done a clean windows install, updated everything, the ethernet is running at 1.0Gbps full duplex… I don't know what to do anymore, and I really need the internet to be fast, for I do lot's of up and downloads while working.

#1 - Try update network card driver:

#2 - Try adjust these parameters in LAN adapter (devmgmt.msc):

Large Send Offload v2 (IPv4) = Off

Large Send Offload v2 (IPv6) = Off

Gigabit Lite                 = Disabled

Green Ethernet               = Disabled

Power Energy Eficient        = Disabled

Idle Power Saving            = Disabled

#3 - Open a Command Prompt / Terminal (Admin mode), then type the cmd bellow:

netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=normal

After make these changes, restart your computer.

Gonna try it a.s.a.p, one doubt though, mine came with a Killer E2600 gigabit ethernet controller, does the realtek driver works on it?

Make sure that your Killer E2600 LAN driver is up to date to the latest version below, and the Win-11 OS is up to date and functioning properly without errors and BSODs blue screens, if your laptop has errors then best solution is to reinstall Win-11

the note is ok, no errors or BSODs, and I've made a clean install as soon as I got it to make sure everything would be ok, one doubt I have now is where to find it's driver, is it intel or realtek? do the link posted above helps to update? the driver version of mine is the following:

ok guys, made the intel killer performance suite install and it got better than it was, made some tests downloading some steam games and I got a 30MBps download, thank you all for the help, one last question, could the drive I'm using be messing with the download speed? I'm using a kinda old external HD to download everything I use from games to work files.

The Killer E2600 LAN driver that your E2600 LAN should have is the below/above driver version 1168.13.424.2023, the example below is from my Nitro AN515-56 laptop and its the driver that Win-11 has update the LAN to.

I only use a LAN cable for my internet connection and NOT Wi-Fi as its allot better. The LAN driver is in Device Manager like in the caption below from my AN515-56 laptop that has the E2600 Gigabit Ethernet Controller and runs perfectly at 450/40MB/s NBN connection, and it runs perfectly with the driver Version 1168.13.424.2023 shown.

mine is now exactly like yours, but for some reason I'm getting only half of the speed for download but when doing the speed test, it shows the full speed, I also made the config shown o the first response and I only use cable connection too, I don't like using wifi on the notebook, I'll see what can I do to solve this, but at least, I got half the speed.

Go to the task bar and right click the LAN icon and do the "Diagnose Network Problems" and see if windows can find any problems out, as under the same settings my LAN works perfectly, and never had any 50% download speed problems. Check your modem, internet provider or windows settings, as these laptops are very fragile and the components that they use are very prone to failing and to faults.
