I bought a refurbished Acer convertible laptop from Walmart few years back. I had a few issues when I first got it but now it will not stay on and it actually has not stayed on for over a year

    1. Power supply (adapter+battery), browse this community for ways to check adapter and battery conditions.
    2. Bad RAM module(s) unless RAM is soldered on the motherboard, then it may be a broken motherboard.
    3. Unstable OS and/or corrupted drivers, easy to check by booting in Safe Mode, and see if the system remains stable.
    4. Bad HDD/SSD, diagnose your drive(s) in Windows or with freeware like HWINFO.

Any of the 4 or a combination can cause this, if you cannot figure out the cause, I recommend bringing your laptop to Acer Services in your country, including the adapter, for checking, you will get a repair cost estimate and you can then decide if the laptop is still worth it.
