Subin: Okay. Please note the below disclaimers while sending the computer for repair.
Subin: The troubleshooting steps we have taken have not resolved the issue. Therefore, I have determined that this issue is hardware related which requires service to replace a part(s). Component replacement costs associated with this repair will be covered, aside from exceptions outlined within our limited warranty (this would include damages caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, etc.) examples of this includes cracked LCD, liquid spills etc.

Prior to setting up the service, I need to inform you of the following requirements: “All passwords must be removed, disabled, or provided to the technician in order to service the system. The hard drive may be formatted or replaced during the service. Therefore, it is your responsibility to backup all data prior to sending the unit in to our service centers, as we are not responsible for the loss of data.”

Once received, your product will be inspected for damage. If your product appears to have damage that is not covered by warranty, you will be contacted by our service facility requesting that a method of payment be provided. If this is not provided, your system will be returned unrepaired and you will not be eligible for service of the item until payment is received.

The estimated time to complete repair is 7 - 10 business days from the day we receive the product at our service location depending on parts availability. Please be informed that the repair will be free of cost. Also we will ship it back to you without any charge. You need to pay only for one way shipping.

Subin: To avoid damage when shipping the product to our service facility, it is critical you properly package your product. We also recommend you insure your package and use a trackable carrier only, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, Purolator; we highly discourage the use of the postal service. Make sure a copy of the air bill is kept, as this is the only proof of shipment.

We recommend shipping the product in packaging providing the product with a degree of protection equivalent to that of the original packaging. Use 3 to 5 inches of bubble wrap to protect your product.
Use 3 inch wide plastic packing tape or 3 inch wide reinforced water-activated paper tape to seal the box.
Place the shipping label on the largest flat surface of the package and remove/cover all old labels if reusing packaging. Then place your name, phone number, Case ID and unit serial number in the upper left corner of the package
Do not use carrier mail packs, envelopes, styrofoam popcorn or peanuts; also please do not ship multiple products in the same box!

If you would like to keep your original retail box, do not ship the product into service in this box. When the product is returned it will be in a plain brown shipping box.

Subin: Please note the shipping address: Acer Repair (Canada)

Subin: Please note the case ID: alan : ok 1 moment pls
Subin: I have sent all the information to your email address  as well.
    alan : great
Subin: Alan, to conclude we have schedule a repair and this should help you fix the issue. If there are no additional questions on this topic, I will close the chat session.
Subin: I appreciate you for the time that you spent with me.
alan : so this repair if all is well will cost nothing then? I am currently unemployed
    alan: shipping is free?
Subin: The repair and return shipping is free of cost for you.  You only need to send the computer to the address that I provided.
    alan: how? pay upfront?
alan : I will try this ty for your time. Subin
Subin: That will depends on the courier service.
    Subin: You are welcome.
    alan : any you recommend
