CB272U monitors will not wake from sleep

I have two brand new CB272U monitors that are replacing two CB272 monitors and for some reason, when they go to sleep I can't wake them up without hitting a button on the back of the monitor. The CB272's worked great, never had any issues with them but we need another set of monitors in the house so I decided to upgrade and get the CB272U's.

Nothing has changed in my configuration between the old and new monitors. It is exactly the same. I am using a KVM switch that I have had for 3 years without an issue and two computers. There are some DP>HDMI converters but when I hook up HDMI directly to HDMI of the monitor, it still does not wake up. I am using a 15ft HDMI cord but I don't think that's the issue.

Acer Support was not very helpful and just wants me to send them in. They are saying they are broken but I find that hard to believe that two of them have the same issue. I have tried all the recommended changes to sleep mode in Win10 and to the devices in device manager I could find by googling it but nothing seems to work. Hoping someone here can help me figure this out or I will have to return them.

Thank you!

So I bought some Sceptre 2k monitors just to see if it's my setup or the monitors and these monitors work perfectly. No issues at all turning on. But I definitely don't like them as much. I really want to keep the Acer monitors but I just can't figure out why they won't turn on automatically. And it would be less of a deal if the buttons were on the front or the bottom of the monitor. Having them in the back when you have multiple monitors makes it a pain.

Does anyone have anything they can offer to resolve this issue? I am considering sending them in to Acer even though I am pretty sure they are not broken.

    Thanks!

I have problems with a recently purchased CBL272U monitor. The OSD freezes after some time and going in Power Save Mode by Windows. A second monitor has the same issue. It seems to occur less when DDC/CI and DPS is disabled. Maybe disabling mitigates your problem too. But it looks like a problem in the firmware.
