I am using two SK Hynix P41s, but a huge slowdown occurs only when the SK Hynix P41 is installed in slot 1. There is no problem with the P41 installed in slot 2. I tested it by changing the operating system to Linux just in case, but it doesn't seem to be a problem with the operating system. In the case of Micron 3400 512GB, which was included by default when purchased, it worked normally in both slots 1 and 2, but I am curious as to whether there is a compatibility issue or if it is a solvable problem.

Hi,

I think it could be due to the heatsink in SK Hynix P41, the pins in P41 may be not making proper contact because the slot behaves normally with the stock M.2 SSD.

Try swapping the two SSDs, to see if the issue follows the SSD or follows the slot.

It is not a problem with the SSD. Even if the slots of the two P41s are swapped, the problem only occurs with the P41 plugged into the same slot. If both SSDs are plugged into slot 2, they work normally.

So if both SSDs work the same in each slot, that pins the issue down to the hardware for that slot. Contact Acer support for a repair if it's been too long to just swap the unit out with your vendor. Both slots should work the same.
