Regarding A usb connection problem

Hello well ive been having this problem lately i dont know if its the operating system's problem or is it the laptop, basically i tried connecting a usb to one of the right side's port near the earphone connector (SFX14-42G) and it wasnt detecting my usb neither there was no light but when i connected it to my external monitor i use it was working and i tried connecting the usb to other side of the laptop that worked as well but this one port on the right side just didnt work with usb's only i connected my laptop cooler to it and it worked but didnt work with any usb

    That right side USB port is the same version port as the left side USB port, but the left side port also has an additional feature that it "Also charges devices when the computer is off" (see specs below) and if the left side port works and the right port doesn't, then there is something wrong with the USB right side port and if your laptop is under warranty get Acer Tech Support to change the port or the mainboard.

    #2 is a USB Type-A Port - Connects to USB 3.2 Super Speed (USB) device.
    NOTE:
    Devices without USB 3.2 certification may not be compatible.
