Acer has discontinued all support for Windows 7 notebooks, I recommend upgrading to a Windows11 laptop.

This laptop can run on Win-10 and Pro as I've run Win-10 Pro on an Aspire 5750-2414 model with the Intel 2nd Gen i5-2410M cpu and of course a 2.5" SATA III SSD boot drive and 8GB 2x 4GB DDR3-1333Mhz type ram, so be aware of this also as your laptop has similar specs also. Unfortunately, Acer has stopped support for the Aspire 7750G laptop so you will not be able to get any drivers on this laptop from Acer. You can download drivers and bios for your Aspire 7750G laptop from other web sources but be very careful and download these drivers and especially the bios from known and reputable sources, as otherwise you will brick your laptop.

Try this site HelpDrivers for these discontinued laptop drivers, as this site has got bios versions up to version 1.19 for the 7750G and other drivers, as that is how you will need to search and find all the drivers for your Aspire 7750G laptop. Good luck and hope this helps you out.

The main issue is the laptop is shutting down after 30 minutes i read on intel forum that it might be related

to the intel me firmware being corrupt. i have disassembled the laptop cleaned the fans and applied fresh

thermal paste to make sure it's not an overheating issue i also have changed the Ram and the HDD

flashed the bios from 1.12 to 1.21 and made a fresh install of windows 10 and 11 but the shutdown issue is

    still there.

i was hoping to find some sort of update for intel me firmware from acer which could potentially solve the

    issue.

i know the laptop is obsolete and it may not be worth all the hassle but i'm just trying to help my friend fix

    this laptop.
