So I turn the computer on and before I login the wi-fi connection is good. As soon as I login the laptop gets disconnected. Has anyone run into something like this? Also, when resetting the laptop to factory (ESC-ReFresh-PWR) it takes 5 minutes. There is a countdown, second by second. Is there a way for this not to take this long? On all my other system, this same procedure take about a minute.

  • Have you paid your internet provider?😎 As that is one of the signs of the problems that you are having, that an internet looks like its working but when logged in it doesn't work or connect or get into contact with your internet provider. Also it would be more helpful if you would tell us what laptop model and wifi/bt card you are using?

Yes, are internet provider is being paid. 😁 We have a few thousand devices, and it is only happening with a few Chromebooks, right now that is. Hoping it does not get worse. Anyway, it is happening on Chromebooks HP G9's, and Acer 311's. Not all of course, and that is the problem. Was just wondering if anyone else is having issues like this one. Just weird that when at the login screen the wifi connection is there and as soon as the user signs in, the connection is lost. Sign back out and the connection is established again. Right now, after some testing either a power wash or deleting the user from the laptop and recreating, seems to do the trick yesterday. Lets see if they come back today with the problem. I hope not.

It sounds like there's an issue with the user's profile. When they log in the WiFi is reconfigured to their profile settings.
