How can I fix my my Nitro when i corrupted my original Win 11 OS SSD?

I can't figure out how to just load a regular Win 11 bootable USB because the SSD doesn't show up to load the OS on during the Win 11 install process.

So I only had the original and I need to reload the OS but I don't how to do that when secure boot prevents me from installing Win 11 from a USB bootable.

I need to make a copy of a new SSD with the original Win 11 OS on it to get this going.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Its a VERY simple solution, you don't need the original Acer OS, the MS Win-11 is a better option, as you can download the Acer Care Center,
Nitro Sense and the Quick Access Application from your laptops Acer Drivers & Manuals Application page, and the OS will be the same as what Acer installed without all the bloatware that Acer puts on these laptops, that is the best way to do this, as you will have less of a chance of reinstating corrupt files that could brick your OS on your AN517-55 laptop.

What you need when you do a Clean Install is you need the new 2023/02/20 - IRST (Intel® Rapid Storage Technology) Driver - Version 19.5.0.1037, to be installed while you do a Clean Install of Win-11. You need to unzip this driver and either put it onto the installation USB or aon aseparate USB and do the below.

Boot with the Win-11 Microsoft Installation USB to start the installation, when you get to the section of the Win-11 installation at "Where do you want to install Windows?" you need to go to "Load Driver" and load the IRST driver as that will make the boot drive be recognized and you can then Delete the old partitions and then Format the M.2 SSD Boot driver and can do a Clean Install of a new Win-11 OS, this is only for Intel CPU laptops or PCs. After installing Win-11 make sure that you have all the windows up to date, install the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant and get all Intel drivers up to date and install all the NVidia graphics drivers for your gpu and install the GeForce Experience software for best gaming performance and settings, doing all this will make your installation perform 100% and your laptop too, its the only way to have a laptop OS installed and operating!

This is the installation screen that all this happens on, follow the steps below:

Thanks a million StevenGen, for that well explained and very articulate thorough explanation of this whole process. I've been trying for years to get a complete step by step explanation on how to do this once the Laptop manufactures resorted to the secure boot which can become a nightmare to service for something that should've been as easy as past OS re-installs that you installed yourself having a little computer experience. I sorta gave up trying to fix my Laptop myself because every time I got to the SSD not showing up when trying to install the OS, I always had to quit trying after failing several different option to get the hard drives to show up. The link to the rapid storage driver is what I been needing that that prevented me from completing that whole process it looks like. So thank you for this I'm definitely gonna use this process and change my boot system to eliminate all the bloatware they add using their secure boot process.

    Thanks

You can ship the laptop by courier service to Acer, I have done that, living on a remotely located farm and had my laptop back in its original state free of charge (just the shipping costs) delivered at my doorstep within 2 weeks. There was no bloatware loaded just the updated Windows version. Prior to shipping I took out the HDD and copied all my files, using an external USB HDD case, to another PC, then reformatted the external HDD and installed the empty HDD back in the laptop for service. Easy.

I recommend bringing your laptop to Acer Services to reset the system to factory defaults and install the new SSD with OEM Windows11, there will be small service charge, in the Philippines $25.

    Hey thanks for that information.

Would this allow me to just install Win11 from an ordinary QEM disc like on older systems?

Is this something I can do myself by changing something in the bios, or do i need to send the laptop to a service center? Which happens to be in another state by the way. Thanks for all your help.
