This is an age old issue of this model, and I can't believe it's not been solved permanently yet.

I'm sure someone has figured out a makeshift solution to this issue, so I'm reaching out to you.

Plugging in any kind of Earphones/Headsets/IEMs with MIC and 3.5mm Jack, the mic won't be detected by the driver. Only the built-in laptop Microphone array works.

Things I tried -

  1. Reinstalling the latest Realtek Driver from Acer Website.
  2. Changing Headphones, incase the jack is incompatible (according to support guys), I went ahead and bought 11 different kinds of earphone/iems with mic… I'm not kidding.
  3. Downloading Older driver version.
  4. Changing Headset type from Audio Console (as per some user's suggestions)
  5. Searching for 'Realtek HD Audio Manager'. (Literally doesn't exists for my driver, it's only Realtek Audio Console, which is objectively awful in function)

So, none of them solved the problem. What's left for me to do? Any advice would be appreciated.
