NEW acer spin 1 bought today - frozen? out of warranty?

Exactly like the title says, i got this laptop not even 5 hours ago and it keeps freezing, will not let me click my files and the button to close the laptop also is gone?? Called Acer multiple times and they keep hanging up, they say my laptop is out of warranty WHEN I just got this TODAY!! It's not refurbished or anything its NEW and i got from La Source and they told me I have a year warranty. PLEASE HELP ME, I dont wanna get scammed

    Just keep your invoice copy handy when you call Acer support and ask them to register the unit.

    They will give a link to update the invoice and than they might be able to help you .

    Go back to the vendor and have them exchange it for a new one. It sounds like they sent you one they got back due to problems with it, instead of sending it to Acer for refurbishing as they should have.
