Hello everyone, I’m using a nitro an517-52 i5 10300h gtx 1650. The problem is that recently the processor began to heat up to 93 degrees steadily, this confused me, I took it apart, cleaned it, and changed the thermal paste on the processor. Then I noticed that the thermal pads that come from the factory are liquid, dried out and look like plasticine. Tell me, is there a reason to change? I read on the Internet that the factory ones are better than any others

That sounds like the proper thermal pads, no need to change. your CPU can sustain 100°C., up to 93° under heavy load no issues. I recommend reducing, in Power Plan Advanced settings, the Processor Power State when adapter plugged-in from 100% to below 99% and purchasing a powerful, 5-fan, cooling pad the size of your laptop. Also maintain your system, install latest BIOS, check weekly for Windows updates and reduce your background programs that constantly update and chat on the web. Use the Balanced Power plan instead of (Ultra) High Performance that mitigates elevated CPU temperatures.

They are using thermal putty so it looks dry and flexible for different VRAM heights. No need to change it.
